We are happy to announce the 2022 NEMI day will still be held as a live event on the 22nd of March at Naturalis Leiden.
If you bought a ticket for the original event in November and are not able to join on the 22nd of March please let us know as soon as possible at email@example.com.
We still have a couple of spots available to join the NEMI day. To register please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, email, affiliation and dietary restrictions.
Below you find the program for the day. We are looking forward to a number of interesting talks and exciting poster presentations. Due to the rescheduling of the event, there are still two timeslots we hope to fill in the next week. We’ll share the definitive program with you as soon as possible.
How to get there
The NEMI day will be held at the auditorium of Naturalis Leiden (Darwinweg 2, Leiden). There are parking spaces at the back of the museum, parking tickets are available in the museum and cost €7,50 per day. Naturalis is also easy to reach by public transport. If you are arriving by train, exit Leiden central station at the LUMC side. The walking route is clearly marked from there. You can also take a bus from Leiden Central train station and get off at the Darwinweg/Naturalis bus stop, right in front of the entrance. Once you are inside there will be signs pointing you toward the auditorium.
Because of the recently updated covid measures the use of facemasks and QR-codes is no longer mandatory. Additionally it would have been possible to increase the maximum number of visitors from 150 to 240. In light of the current high infection rate we chose not to, to ensure that people are able to keep 1,5 m distance if they want to.
